Technology:

- Back-screened topsheet: Topsheets with silkscreened graphics are printed on the backside of a transparent and impact-resistant topsheet material. This protects extremely well against damage without compromising design or color.
- High-gloss lacquered topsheet: The application of a clear varnish coating on a board’s topsheet makes it even more durable and slick and prevents snow from sticking to the board. Partial grip varnish or a matte screen print, adds a tangible 3D effect with depth and special light reflecting qualities.
- Ultra-light topsheet: At only 0.3mm, this high-tech razor thin topsheet guarantees maximum weight reduction but requires a specific print technology.
- Partial grip-lacquer: For this topsheet the Grip Lacquer is only applied zonally, giving the board an integrated stomp pad as well as an extra special look. Depending on the design, there are coarse or finer grains inside the lacquer – with or without glitter.
- Tip-to-Tail Supreme Woodcore: Our Tip-to-Tail Supreme Woodcore features four strips of falcatta wood integrated into the durable aspen core. This makes boards lighter, while still providing the best dampening and flex properties for outstanding performance.
- Slim-Tip construction: In contrast to conventional sandwich construction, the Slim-Tip Construction incorporates a solid, shock-absorbent urethane inlay in the nose and tail, which reduces weight and centrifugal mass, making the nose look slimmer and enhancing rotational characteristics of the board.
- True Twin Freestyle Sidecut with Blunt Nose: The characteristic of this symmetric Twin-Tip sidecut is the geometry of the Blunt Nose. Not only are nose and tail shortened for this shape, but the overall sidecut is adapted to move the widest part further to the front and back of the board. This results in a longer effective edge and more pressure as soon as you ride the board on an edge. A very interesting option for freestylers who enjoy riding a shorter board, as the board is very playful and forgiving on flat terrain, while offering more control when ridden on an edge, preventing washing out if a trick isn’t stomped.

- Blunt Nose Geometry: For this special shape, the nose is built a little flatter with the sidecut adjusted accordingly. This increases the effective contact length of the edges, hence you can ride smaller boards with the same bite of a much longer board. This construction also provides less centrifugal mass, improving the whole board feeling and making spins smoother.
- 3x4 Insert System: There are three common insert systems, in which the distance between the inserts differs. With a 4x4 system, the inserts are 4cm apart. With the 5x2 and 6x2 Insert Systems, the insert rows are only 2cm apart, which means that the stance can be set more precisely, with the 6x2 system offering the most individual placement options. The discs can then be used to adjust the centering of the bindings.

- Triaxial fiberglass weave in upper and lower beam: This special weave consists of fibers that are positioned at a 45° angle (+45°/-45°) in addition to a longitudinal direction. Depending on the density of the woven fibers, torsion and flex are enhanced without increasing the core’s thickness. This reduces weight and enhances responsiveness as well as edge grip.
- Extruded super-clear base: This special Super-Clear Base complements silk-screened base graphics and delivers brilliant colors and almost total transparency. It also makes the base low-maintenance and very durable.
- Back-screening and Die-Cut: This unique and complex method of creating graphics allows the combination of colorful Silk-Screening with Die-Cut, achieving stunning 3D effects.
- Stone finish: A good Stone Finish gives the base a universal structure that works in almost all snow conditions. It also improves wax absorption, making the board even faster.
- Diamond finish: Diamond Finish is standard for all Völkl boards. Edges are ground so that they extend 1° down from the base and 1° out from the sides and heated for maximum durability. This provides easy maneuverability and great edge hold in icy conditions.
