Volcoms Eastern insulated snowboard trousers were developed for use under a wide variety of weather conditions and at the same time to satisfy requirements for very different terrains.

With their breathable, 2-layer V-Science shell fabric and protective features, these cargo trousers are just what you need on the mountain, even if youre a keen backcountry snowboarder too and would rather take a hike once in a while than use the chairlift.

The GPT articulated fit was developed in collaboration with mountain guides on Canadas Baldface Mountain and since they are really the ones who know whats crucial, these trousers have a relaxed cut and articulated legs for maximum freedom of movement.

Thanks to a solid 15,000 mm hydrostatic head, in normal conditions youll be ideally kitted out to battle the elements, and that all day long, even if youre the first up in the cable car in the morning and are there alongside the mountain guides putting the lights out.

The breathable, V-Science inner lining and the surprisingly lightweight 40g.

m insulation will keep you warm, without overheating, while the critical taped seams and the high waistband ensure that the cold and snow stay on the outside.

The ZipTech jacket-to-trousers connection creates a seamless protective layer from head to foot when combined with a matching jacket and acts as a secondary defence against the elements.

And last but not least, there are plenty of practical pockets front and back to stash snacks and other bits and pieces for long days in the mountains.
