Rugged and durable, this waterproof boot features seam-sealing, a built-in gaiter, a molded EVA comfort footbed, a multi-direction rubber lug sole and 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation to ensure that feet stay secure, warm, dry and protected during demanding activities in extremely cold winter weather.

Great, watch out for the pepper!

Really a great product. Others have said they are hell of a boot, but they promise a sure foot in the snow and on the ice, and a warm foot. On the other hand, pay attention to the size. I had taken the exact size (41 for 26 cm) and it was very tight and uncomfortable. I traded for 41.5 and it's better but well adjusted. Afterwards the liner will certainly compact a bit so I stay on this size. But if you don't want to feel tight at all or put on extra thick socks then take a size up from the Sorel size guide.

I will use my travel in Siberia for walking on ice. I also tried the classic Caribou model, but I prefer the Conquest model because they offer more precision when waking on the difficult terrain (they are similar to a real mountaineering boot, but more comfortable). The Sorel Caribou are more "fashion" and less suitable for the outdoor. I bought the exact size suggest by size chart: the boots fit correctly but with a normal sock. With thicker insulated socks, I feel compressed and maybe I would need a bigger size.
