With dual-standard certification, the SCOTT Couloir Mountain is a featherweight, backcountry-inspired game changer. By utilizing Casidion® in the top of the shell, our engineers were able to deliver one of the lowest profile dual-norm helmets on the market whilst also significantly reducing the weight of the helmet. With additional features like a headlamp fixation and a seperate fitted headband, the Couloir Mountain can perform in both winter and summer conditions.

- Casidion® is a nanotechnology-based impact material used in our Couloir Mountain. This revolutionary material allows us to significantly reduce the weight & delivers an increased level of protection.

LIGHTWEIGHT:
- During the in-mold manufacturing process, the outer shell of polycarbonate material is fused with the helmet’s impact-absorbent foam liner, creating a super-lightweight outer shell. With reduced weight and bulk surrounding the head, in-mold helmets are more comfortable than traditional helmets.

HALO 270 FIT SYSTEM:
- Our ultra-light HALO Fit System provides easy adjustability and unparallelled comfort. Find the perfect height of the rear ergonomic cradle while the helmet is on your head and dial in optimal pressure using the micro-adjustment dial.
