By adding a new type of Dyneema® with stretch developed specifically for POC, the base layer incorporates one of the world.
strongest fibers to give laceration protection from sharp ski edges.
The tights are certified to European cut resistance standard EN388-2016, Level 3 (of 5).
-Wool for comfortThe base layer uses a wool/polyester blend in a double-knit construction so that the wool sits next to the body for extra comfort.

I think due to the shape of them around the hips and waist sizing up is a good idea as with my original smaller ones they would fall down. (That was because they didn’t have much room for my bum) You want the trousers to come down past the knee and as close to the boots as possible to minimise the risk of the skis cutting parts of your leg without the cut proofs. An improvement could be to make the material less slippy, I can’t wear my knee supports on top of them since they won’t stay in place and they don’t fit underneath them.
