misleading wool content

This really confounded me. I bought these socks based on the advertised high wool content. Look on the packaging and the "Legal" composition is: 58% percent acrylic 25% wool 15% nylon 2% elastane. Thats quite far off the advertised 83% merino blend. "blend" being the misleading part. I am sure they are great socks but if you are looking for high wool content these are not it.

It´s what it says on the label and judging by the feel it´s like that. Lorpen is a very good brand. We have used the socks last winter and this one a couple of times already. His feet neither sweat nor are they cold and in quite extreme conditions…. That´s if they get some balls, which is typical in wool,
