I haven't used these Bolle goggles yet, but they arrived in perfect condition. They are my first photochromatic goggles and I figured S1 - S3 is correct for this time of year in Japan. They came in the correct box and with a microfiber bag - it would have been nice, at this brand level, if they came with an elastic cloth lens cover that other high end brands seem to be offering now (a small thing, but still). It was between these and Vuarnet. I thought I would try these since they were relatively inexpensive at about €140 compared to the Vuarnet at €280.

It's really a very good mask, no high intensity fogging so well ventilated, comfortable and above all very good visibility. Only downside when you are in full sun from the front it will protect less well than Cat4 glasses but that is normal because it is Cat1 to 3. For the slopes in darker valleys no worries either the mask adapts perfectly and the snow is clearly visible.
