This binding is under the alpine section but can it be used for ski touring? It looks like it can so should it be under that section with the other atomic shift bindings?

Yes it can as its hybrid. Can be used as alpine with no need of touring boots. For touring usage you need touring boots with pins.

You will receive the product from snowinn. The bonding to the skis must be done separately by a shop. Unless you also buy the skis and specify the dimensions (ski boot length in mm, level and weight).
