S-Thermic:
- Exceptional insulation even when wet. Next generation S-Thermic-filled pieces feature Primaloft® ThermoPlume® - a synthetic fill made entirely from post-consumer recycled insulation. Mimicking the look and feel of natural down, it boasts outstanding heat retention (the same as a 550-fill down coat) while the fibres are water resistant.

Pertex:
- Lightweight and packable, soft-touch and windproof, Pertex® Quantum is constructed from incredibly fine yarns designed to trap still air and enhance insulation.

Fair Wear Foundation:
- ODLO is a member, with leader status, of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), which endeavours to improve labour conditions in the textile industry worldwide. FWF verifies that producers abide to their code of conduct and make appropriate improvements. As a multi-stakeholder initiative, FWF’s independence is guaranteed because it is governed by trade unions, NGOs and business associations. Transparency and accountability are key principles of the organisation.

- FWF members work towards improving the labour conditions in factories that produce sewn textiles all over the world. The basis of the collaboration between FWF and its members is its code of labour practices. Eight labour standards form the core of this code of conduct. FWF members are contractually obliged to comply with these standards.

- FWF verifies whether companies comply with the code of labour practices through factory audits and complaint procedures, through audits of its members’ management systems and through extensive stakeholder consultations in producer countries. FWF shares its knowledge and (local) contacts with its member companies, providing them with access to information on local legislation, labour legislation and culture.

- Members are required to set up an effective monitoring system, including factory audits, factory trainings and factory visits. FWF has a complaint procedure that enables factory workers to anonymously report any abuses related to
labour conditions. To raise workers‘ awareness of labour rights, FWF also offers Workplace Education Programme.

Oek-Tex Standard 100:
- ODLO´s Functional Underwear bears the Oeko-Tex® label “Confidence in Textiles”, which certifies textiles tested for harmful substances in accordance with the Oek-Tex Standard 100. Our product meets the current human-ecological requirements: no carcinogenic ingredients, no formaldehyde, free of allergy-causing dyes, skin-friendly pH value.

A few words about eco-labelled fabrics:
- ODLO is committed to using sustainable materials where possible. We use recycled PET bottles and repurposed production waste, for example, to create our high-tech Performance Warm eco and Active Warm eco base layers while our Blackcomb Warm eco base layers are now made from sustainable materials.
- Big picture, we have lofty sustainability targets and lots of work left to do. This winter, 51 per cent of our production volume will be made with sustainable materials. By 2030, we´re targeting 100 per cent.
