3,552 DAYS OF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT For more than 10 years we have been working on the X-BIONIC Energy Accumulator. Each year it has performed even better. Each year the trophies we won for it piled up - today we have 15 internationally renowned design prizes, not to mention innumerable top test results. This makes us very proud, but it doesnt put an end to our ambition to make it even better. With the Energy Accumulator EVO its now come down to precision work. We arent changing the entire concept, but we just hammer away on each small detail. If you optimise the single features, you end up improving the entire system. Its not about an entire revolution anymore. When it comes to functional apparel, that was already accomplished by the Energy Accumlator . This is now all about evolution. In performance sports, victory and defeat are often decided by the hundredth of a second. Every seam has to be perfect and has to support the athlete optimally in every situation. That was the premise for the development and the set goal for our team. To accomplish that, we have in the end nearly totally changed the Energy Accumulator: newly defi ned shoulder zones, broader compression areas, stronger joint segments, newly conceptualized channeling.

Technology:

- Two-Step 3D-BionicSphere System: The high-tech knitting technology ensures optimal grip and climate comfort. The different ribs and surface constructions support and transport moisture as well as warmth.
- Enlarged ISO-Pad: 23 cm2 insulation. In winter, targeted insulation of individual body parts against ambient coldness can prevent the body from the cold. This is why ISO-Pads over the hip bones and the finer ISO-Pads on the buttocks retain body heat that is necessary to guarantee internal organ function.
- Air-Conditioning Channel: The Air-Conditioning Channel is a ventilation system of channels that flow around the body, continuously carrying away moisture and warmth. It allows air to flow to body regions not normally accessible by fresh air circulation.
- on the upper thigh: Shaped like waves, their protection lies over a large surface of the most superficial thigh muscle, thereby retaining the necessary heat next to the body to maintain muscle performance.
- {Innerlap AirConditioning Zone:false}: The inner thighs are less reactive to the cold. Here, woven mesh with zero insulation function allows air to circulate and aids cooling as soon as you start to sweat.
- ExpansionKnee of xitanit: Protects knees from the cold. The silver lining provides the necessary heat reflection, keeping the heat inside the clothing system.
- 3D-BionicSphere System at the tailbone: The sweat of the lower back area is conducted through the 3D-BionicSphere System to the tailbone for evaporation. The SweatTraps on the lower back are targeted specifically at catching sweat flowing toward the buttocks. This first phase, which often leads to friction sores, is interrupted before it can even begin.
- {Air Guides:false} 1 mm strong - improved air circulation: The Air-Conditioning Channel is enveloped by the {Air Guides:false} so that it can also function effectively under a second layer. The speed of evaporation is increased by multiples.
- Improved ISO-CalfPad: Calf muscles can cool down quickly, particularly after short breaks and even if the overall body temperature is still high. This can lead to the risk of injury. The new anatomically adapted ISO CalfPad retains the bodys warmth. Here too the knitted fabric lies in wavelike shapes over the skin forming channels for storing air in a manner similar to the ISO-Shoulder. The air warmed by the body and retained in these channels significantly delays the cool-down of the calf musculature as it adjusts to the bodys overall perception of warmth.
- AirConditioningSpot: The knee hollow perspires quickly and heavily. A fine, circular knitted fabric has been incorporated there. Perspiration dissipates and is pushed outward with the aid of body warmth without the risk of chilling.
