The Speedway ski board of Salomon is a real rocket on powder snow and even in sticky spring snow, super light and powerful that facilitates the turns and pop without much effort.

The Tapered Directional shape allows a more fluid flotation and transition during the turns, which become explosive thanks to its Popster construction and the Backseat Camber profile, whose flat segments reduce the vibrations and give you greater freedom in powder snow.

These skis have a Quadratic sidecut, designed for those who start in the turns since it does not implicate greater effort, and a Ghost Green core, made of Paulownia wood, which seeks to make the skiing board lighter and improves the pop. With the EG sintered sole, you will have enough power to slide in freestyle for the entire mountain.

Backseat Camber – Camber under your back foot and a flat section at the nose, coupled with rocker at the tip and tail lends you maximum control for carving on groomers and a surf-like feel in powder.

Responsive Flex – A stiffer flex helps connect you with your board. It´s stiffness allows for quicker turns, easier edge hold and impressive stability at speed.

Quadratic Sidecut – A blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions.

- Tapered Directional – The tail width is slightly tapered (10-15 mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves flotation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.

Ghost Green Core – The Ghost Green core components have been selected to optimize pop and reduce weight with super light paulownia wood.

- Biax MD – Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level, for light and lively boards.

- Sidewalls
ABS Sidewalls – Salomon´s Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene is a mouthful, so Salomon calls it ABS, the best material for sidewalls. The molecular structure can be described as a concrete bar with rubber nuggets inside, combining toughness for energy transfer and dampening properties for impact absorption.

- Base
Sintered EG – Engineered for a super fast glide in everything from fresh pow to sticky spring snow. Sintered material provides superior wax retention, Gallium strengthens impact resistance, and the Electra finish gives a turbocharged glide.

- Fine Stone Finish – Speed up in powder or softer snow conditions.

- Edges
All-Mountain Edge Bevel – A 1° edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2° bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.
