The Salomon RS 8 Pilot ski boots have been created for intermediate and advanced skiers who are looking for greater control and balance, custom fit, more power transmission, lateral support, and efficient performance to make your training of cross country skating lasts longer.

The Custom Fit booty with thermoformable foam and the Sensifit system combine to give a perfect fit to any foot, whether it wide or thin, this ski boot will be easily molded. The 3D Skate Chassis provides excellent support on the heel to avoid torsion while the Performance Energyzer cane provides lateral support which contributes to greater energy transmission.

These skate boots have a high performance last 102, an adjustment strap in the heel and ankle, and the Quicklace system whose Kevlar laces secured under the zipper which also avoids snow and water from entering inside.
The RS8 boot allows you to experience Salomon’s legendary snug and comfortable fit combined with progressive lateral support, meaning you are comfortable all day long.

great shoes! They are great! Pilot bindings and Salomon boots are the best.

One of the few boots still compatible with pilot bindings. Perfect for the occasional skier who is looking for a shoe that is certainly relatively light but also comfortable. Very good value for money. For women skiers, note that there is also a "vitane" model designed for women, but although I am a woman I opted for this one available on this site at a much lower price and it fits at my foot without problem. Perfect !
