About Plum

In 1968 Henri Felisaz moved down from his home town, Chamonix, in the upper valley to the lower Arve Valley to set up a factory in Cluses (the world capital of screw machining). 1994 Albert and Jean-Michel Felisaz became the managers of the company and started working in the screw machining industry: racing motorbikes parts, swiss watch parts ... 2005 the first heel super light was engineered for a ski mountaineering club from Haute Savoie, in 2007 the first 100% French super light binding has been developed. Today`s Plum Race binding is the 7th version and it only weighs 270g a piece (without the screws) and it`s unbreakable. The Touring 280 is the forerunner of the Guide and the first binding with a heel piece which could be released and with a built-in crampon slot.
