Montane Halogen Alpha Jacket

Designed for stop-start activities in the mountains where core body temperature regulation is key, the Halogen Alpha Jacket combines ultra breathable, lightweight 50g/m2 POLARTEC® Alpha with an open structure PERTEX®® Microlight outer shell. The Halogen Alpha will allow you to maintain your focus without needing to stop to relayer.

CONSTRUCTION:

- Highly air permeable PERTEX®® Microlight Rip-stop fabric has an open structure, enabling the encased insulation to breathe fully. It also benefits from stretch properties and a Durable Water Repellency

- 50g/m2 POLARTEC® Alpha synthetic insulation in the body and sleeves is fast drying, lightweight and also regulates internal temperatures

- Lightweight HYPERVENT lining is used behind the POLARTEC® Alpha areas to ensure optimum breathability



PATTERNING AND DESIGN:

- Technical tailoring around the arms to prevent arm lift raising the lower hem whilst reaching high



HOOD CONFIGURATION:

- Stretch bound face aperture and a close fitting hood designed to fit over winter headwear- -



POCKET CONFIGURATION:

- Two A-line hand-warmer pockets with covered YKK reverse coil zips positioned well clear of backpack or climbing harness belt

- Internal YKK concealed chest pocket, designed to fit GPS or mobile phone securely

- Ergonomic lightweight zip pullers make use easier when wearing gloves



CENTRE FRONT ZIP:

- Full length YKK reverse coil front zip

- Internal storm flap behind centre front zip together with press stud to secure hem and prevent further weather entry

- Microfleece lined chinguard



CUFF AND SLEEVES CONFIGURATION:

- Low profile stretch bound cuffs



WAIST AND HEM CONSTRUCTION:

- Adjustable hem with cinchable drawcord
