Wear as a mid-layer when moving quickly in really cold conditions or as outer insulation on cool evening camps.
Packing down to the size of a large orange, it will hardly be noticed when stowed in your backpack, whilst the PERTEX®® Quantum outer fabric allows the down to loft to its capacity on demand.

A nice, warm jacket, but not the warmest ... but I have a warm jacket for When it's colder. My third piece of kit from Montane and I'm really liking them. I own a Lite-speed wind shirt did is bulletproof (went flying over my bike Onto a gravel road, broke a rib, but my Lite-Speed Suffered only very slight damage, thanks to the Pertex material) and thus the Spitfire Primaloft jacket All which is an absolute oven. Only four stars for now ... wanna wait and see how it holds up. I'm 6'1 "/ 1,85m and about 180 pounds / 82 kg and a size medium fits perfectly. Can comfortably wear a baselayer and hooded fleece jacket underneath. Went walking through the woods tonight with -4 ° C / 25 ° F with a 200 weight merino baselayer and a Polartec Power Dry hoodie and was too hot ... the merino base would've probably been enough! !
