Warm and windproof fleece

Very pleased with this fleece jacket. Feels very well put together and durable. Zippers run smoothly and all the stitching is perfect. Velour material is windproof and warm. I run cold but wearing this jacket in recent 8C temps with just a base layer and tshirt underneath, I stayed warm even with a moderate wind blowing. The jacket is around 600 grams putting it at the heavier end of midweight so it's definitely not for warmer days. I am 5 10 and 150lbs and purchased a size medium. The fit is generous and I can easily layer another fleece jacket underneath. Size small would probably fit better but medium is not overly big on me. I will probably buy a size small to use as a midlayer under a puffer jacket for very cold weather and use the medium as an outer layer for everything else. Marmot came so close to perfection with this fleece but it falls short of five stars because there is no draw cord or elastication at the hem. It's not a deal breaker for me but I still wish there was some way to get a tight seal. Great jacket though. I thoroughly recommend.
