i was happy to find the official vipec leashes on snowinn. i didn't realize it when i bought them, but since the body of the vipec is plastic, you end up having ,to remove the binding and then reinstalling it with the leash sticking out of a small channel. this securely attaches the leash. therefore, it's probably worth installing the leashes when you install the bindings, if you're considering buying both.
