Chain laws vary state-by-state and seasonally. Some states do not have chain laws at all, while others can invoke emergency declarations that supersede state statue. AutoSock is currently approved or permissible in every state. Details and documentation.

With the exception of Quebec, tire chains are mostly allowed as needed in Canada. AutoSock is specifically approved in all western states and provinces with tire chain laws, including British Columbia. Please contact your local distributor for details and documentation.
Europe

AutoSock meets the requirements of ÖNorm V5121 and comply with French winter equipment regulations. AutoSock can be used when snow chains are required in France, Spain, Andorra, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia. Utilizzabili per l´osservanze dell´obbligo catene a bordo. La sentenza del Tribunale Amministrativo Regionale per il Lazio (Roma) del 28 giugno 2013 e la circolare del Ministero dell’Interno del 5 novembre 2013 (prot. 300/A/8321/13/105/1/2) hanno confermato che gli automobilisti possono utilizzare le catene in tessuto AutoSock in presenza del segnale di obbligo di avere catene da neve o in alternativa pneumatici invernali montati. La presente dicitura è valida al 22 novembre 2017 salvo diversa prescrizione.
