Surround sound-s not just at the movies. We-ve integrated high-quality earphones into our audio helmets- soft earpads, so you don-t have to do
without your favorite playlists up on the mountain. To make it even easier to use and spare you the struggle with your MP3 player, we-ve added volume control to the 2010 audio helmets.
In-Mould MONOCORE:
In-Mould technology works by effectively bonding the shell-s two very different materials with each other, according to the motto -together we are strong.- The injection of a shock-absorbent inner layer into a hard polycarbonate outer layer doesn-t only form a single unit, but also additionally hardens both components during the process, providing more protection with less material - less weight and bulk on your head and more room for ventilation.
Lower Microshell:
For this part of the helmet, we use the same polycarbonate materials as for the main shell-s outer layer. These materials prevent dents and
scratches, so your helmet will look just as good at the end of the season as it did at the beginning.
Removable Earpads and Neckgator
Our earpads and the connected neckpiece, the neckgator, are separate pieces that are both removable. That way, you can wear your helmet
on warm days, too, and the whole thing is easy to clean.
Full Cover Beanie Liner:
Our tried-and-true full-cover beanie liner made of soft microfleece molds perfectly to fit your head, preventing pressure points from building
and unwanted cold air from getting in. So that it doesn-t get too warm under your helmet, integrated mesh zones let warm air escape and wick excess moisture away. Combined with our ventilation systems, it-s the perfect solution for a comfortable climate for your head.
Soft Velvet:
This material is soft and cozy, yet robust and moisture absorbent. It keeps your head dry, even when things are heating up on the mountain.
Vent Dams:
Our vent dams turn good-weather riders into diehards. Just close the vents using the vent dams provided to keep arctic temperatures, snowstorms, and rain out.
Shiny Finish:
For those of you who want bring a little something shiny with you to the mountains, there-s the radiant surface and metallic look of our Shiny Finish helmets.
