HELMETS TECHNOLOGY

In-Moulding - In-mould technology consists of creating an injection moulding of both an inner polystyrene liner and polycarbonate outer shell simultaneously, thus creating a lightweight, shock absorbing helmet to protect the skiers head.

NEW REDUCED VOLUME

Thanks to Carrera-s constant strive to innovation, through R&D the volume of the new collection has been sensibly reduced assuring a perfect fit, total comfort. Without sacrificing the looks.

AFS - Adjustable Fitting System -Thanks to an adjustable anatomical support system positioned on the bottom-back of the helmet, it -s possible to adapt the helmet to the skier -s head for the up most fit and
comfort. The system is integrated internally in order to guarantee the highest of safety without hindering neck movements.

VENTILATION SYSTEM

Carrera helmets feature air vents that allow the hot and humid air to circulate out of the helmet and be constantly replaced by fresh and dry air, maintaining the inner helmet temperature constant.

GOGGLE HOLDER

At the back of each Carrera helmet a goggle holder has been placed to ensure protection, comfort and stability.


THE TOUGHEST TESTING REQUIREMENTS FOR SKI HELMETS ARE CURRENTLY IMPOSED BY CE-TESTS,WHICH INCLUDE IMPACT DAMPING CAPABILITIES AND PENETRATION , EFFECTIVENESS OF STRAP SYSTEM AS WELL AS RANGE OF VISION.ALL CARRERA HELMETS COMPLY WITH OR EXCEED THE LATEST EUROPEAN CE EN 1077 STANDARD.
