For an optimal fit, it features an elasticated wristband and an elasticated drawstring hem. Its mitten-type design facilitates the mobility of our fingers. Thanks to the GTT ENPEL DWR technology it is water repellent.
It has a removable breathable and quick-drying lining, which also guarantees greater insulation from body heat.
Our most versatile and popular year-round mitt, the Mercury Mitt features a fully waterproof insert and PrimaLoft®® insulation, as well as a removable split-finger liner for increased dexterity.
A fully waterproof insert and PrimaLoft® insulation make the Black Diamond Mercury Mitt a popular choice for year-round use. Four-way stretch Pertex® Shield fabric and a large gauntlet keep moisture at bay, and the goat leather palm with Kevlar® stitching increases durability for seasons of hard use.
The removable split-finger liner features a high-loft fleece lining for increased warmth and comfort, and a BDry™ insert adds moisture protection even when you use the liner by itself.

The mittens are comfortable and ergonomic. Leather side of mittens is very grasping, tenacious. It will allow you to work as if you are wearing gloves. They are quite warm, but I would rate the level of heat as an average. I live in siberia and if temperature aprox -30 degrees i wear another mittens. I is good idea use inners with long fleece - it stop snow and wind and dont allow it inside. I use this mittens primarily for skitour. Also i think that real size of mittens is a bit small that size chart.

I have been using this model mittens for years while shooting in cold areas, to recover in between. You put your hands in and feel them warm up immediately, a must-have for temperatures below zero. I lost a glove in a storm and I ordered new ones without a doubt.

The gloves have an inner part with the index and an outer part with a mitt. Warm and comfortable. On the other hand at 3500 m with a temperature of -20 on the chairlift I was cold hands. -10 it's all good. I do not regret the purchase anyway. Fred
