- Sensor Woodcore

Like the Extended Sensorwood Core, the Sensorwood core is CNC milled using vertically laminated poplar and beech wood

- Power Construction

Völkl-s longest-running construction, Power Construction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls. Used in racing skis as well as freeskiing models, this versatile, proven construction provides tremendous grip, stability and sensitivity.

- R Motion

Developed jointly by Marker and Völkl specifically to fit the new Racetiger models. Not surprisingly, it draws most of its features from World Cup components.

rMotion ensures the maximum contact width - via a new race plate that is a hybrid between the Marker World Cup plate and a Motion system.

The plate functions just like a race plate, giving the skier additional leverage, plus acceleration at the end of the turn.

- Speedwall

Völkl reinvents a historic construction and takes it to the next level with the new Speedwall technology. Modern ski designs and today-s race courses involve spending more time on the sidewalls and edges.

Völkl engineers siezed an opportunity to make faster skis - we view the sidewalls not just as lateral boundaries, but a continuation of the surface in contact with the snow.

We make Speedwall sidewall material out of a proprietary composite sintered base material - Speedwall sidewalls can be waxed, just like the bases. In racing, that means less friction and more speed!

- Powered by titanium

The top-of-the-line models in the VÖLKL Alpine ski range boast a special wood core tuning system - all powered by titanium.

Above and below the XTD Sensor Wood Core or XTD Wood Core, there is a layer of titanium reinforcing the ski and adding power and stability.

The thin yet extremely strong aluminium alloy extends its unparalleled dampening properties particularly at high speeds.
